Proudly Presented by Bathla
Schools Cup, presented by Bathla, is a community-based football competition that encourages students to participate in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment.
Running across Terms 2 and 3, schools enter through a preliminary round-robin tournament, with the top teams progressing to the Finals at Wanderers Football Park.
The competition promotes sportsmanship, healthy competition, and enjoyment, with the winning teams from the Finals crowned Schools Cup Champions!
Cost to enter is $100 per team, with each school allowed to enter up to two (2) teams per division.
Teams that withdraw within two weeks of the event date will still be invoiced for their team submission.
A copy of the Schools Cup Rules & Regulations for 2026 can be found HERE.
All Wanderers Schools Cup days for Primary & Secondary divisions will be held at the brand new Wanderers Fives Facility during Term 2 & Term 3 as a 5 v 5 competition.
Games typically commence from 9am, with the final round of matches concluding around 2.30pm. Schools are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the first round to ensure there are no delays.
Each event will differ based on the number of teams entered. WSW will confirm start/finish times at least one week prior to the event.
Each team entry is $100, to be invoiced to the school at the conclusion of the event. Teams that register but withdraw within two weeks of the event will still be charged for their registration.
Registrations will close two weeks prior to the scheduled event date, unless the event reaches capacity of teams, at which point registrations will be closed early by WSW.

Yes, students are permitted to play up in an older year group if required, however we recommend schools attempting to fill their squad with students from the relevant year group first where feasible. Students must be registered into the team from the start of the event.
For example, a student in Year 3/4 is eligible to play in the Year 5/6 division, provided they have been registered into the Year 5/6 team.
All events are held at Wanderers Fives, Rooty Hill.
